Each year, the Miss Hawai‘i Organization conducts the Miss Hawai‘i Competition, an official preliminary to the prestigious Miss America Pageant.  It is the single largest provider of scholarships for women in the world.  Hawai‘i entered the Miss America Organization with its first contestant in 1948.

Join us for our debut “Wahine Pono Series” featuring a night of music and talk story with a legacy of Miss Hawai‘i titleholders.  These are empowered women who have gone on to be leaders and who have come to symbolize the beauty of our island home.  

Wahine Pono is a living collection series honoring our local “Hawaiian Women” of excellence, good nature and prosperity to be praised and up-lifted as an example to our Kupuna and future generations . Let us journey together in spotlighting these influential women to share their stories...Then & Now!
