“The Best of Both Worlds” at Pulehu, an Italian Grill:a Maui No Ka ‘Oi Magazine’s ‘Aipono Wine Dinner Series Event

In partnership with Maui No Ka ‘Oi Magazine and the Maui Culinary Academy, the Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort Villas, and Chambers & Chambers Wine Merchants present “The Best of Both Worlds” at Pulehu, an Italian Grill:a Maui No Ka ‘Oi Magazine’s ‘Aipono Wine Dinner Series. Several varietals of Old World and New World wine from various regions will be showcased; paired with a selection of tasting dishes thoughtfully crafted by Chef Alvin Savella of Pulehu, an Italian Grill and students of the Maui Culinary Academy. $25 from each ticket will be donated to the Maui Culinary Academy.
The Maui Celebrity Series presents: Brian Evans
Location: Sheraton Maui
Description: Reknown big band crooner Brian Evans, known for his Baseball Hall Of Fame song “At Fenway,” (it was added to the library in 2013) which he filmed with William Shatner, and “Creature at The Bates Motel,” featuring Carrot Top, will perform live at The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii on Saturday, October 24, 2015.
Local comedians from Maui will open the show, showcasing their unique brand of humor to both locals and visitors alike.
You also can never know who just might pop up on the stage when this crooner performs!
Brian is also the author of the “Horrorscope” and “The Funny Robbers” novels.

Established in 2013 as an independent pops organization, Hawaii Pops is a non-profit organization whose mission is to bring music and music education to residents and visitors of Hawaii.
Under the artistic direction of Conductor, Performer, and Host, Matt Catingub, Hawaii Pops launched its first season in September of 2013 with Jo Dee Messina and continued through June of 2014 at the Hawaii Convention Center, and featured the talents of artists such as Sheena Easton, Al Jarreau, and Keali`i Reichel.
